I am currently listening to ANOTHER THING TO FALL by Laura Lippman. This is the last offering in her Tess Monaghan series. Tess is a private detective based in Baltimore, Maryland and has been hired as a bodyguard for a young actress filming a TV series in Baltimore. Of course, nothing ever goes right for Tess and there is a murder during the production.
As for reading, I am reading THE GOLDEN ROSE by Kathleen Bryan. This is the second in the War of the Rose fantasy series.
This continues the saga of Averil and Geraint and their efforts to save their world from an evil king who trying to gain three “trophies” that will waken the serpent so the king can become all powerful.
I am also reading DRAGONSPELL by Donita Paul. This is the first book in the Dragonkeeper Series. I had ordered the second in the series for the Library, read it and got hooked on the series. Now I am starting at the beginning and plan to read the four books available in the series. This is about Kale who was a village slave until she found a dragon egg and found out she was a dragonfinder and that’s when her adventures start. There is plenty of magic and evil and trying to rescue people and dragons from an evil wizard. I especially like that we start the series with Kale as young teenager and see her grow into adulthood along with her friends.

I just finished "The Other Boleyn Girl" and "The Virgin's Lover" by the same author and those are book really good I would recommend them to anyone!

I’m reading Runemarks by Joanne Harris. Norse mythology is central to the story, as the mythical battle of Ragnarok has occurred and the Norse gods lost, and are now trying to regain their place in the world. The main character Maddy can cast magic using runes as she navigates her way through the underworld of Norse myth. Very good book!
