Copies cost $.10 per page (schoolwork copies are free up to 20 pages). Faxes cost $2.00 (local) or $2.50 (long-distance) for the first page and $1.00 (local) or $1.50 (long-distance) for each additional page to send, $.50 per page to receive.
Computing
The library provides free high-speed internet access to patrons in the building. You can sign up in one-hour timeslots to use one of our internet-accessible desktop stations, or bring in your laptop to use free wireless internet access any time. There are a number of computers available for patron use in the library. A variety of software is loaded on these machines: Microsoft Office products, games for children, instant-messaging clients and more.
Inter-Library Loan
The NLCL participates in Inter-Library Loan (ILL), wherein we can obtain books or other materials that aren't in our permanent collection from other libraries around the state. ILL requests that are for personal (not educational) use incur a small fee.
Rooms
In addition to our study/work tables and comfortable seating located throughout the main floor area, we have a few places within the library are designated for a special purpose.
