Rooms at the NLCL
In addition to our study/work tables and comfortable seating located throughout the main floor area, we have a few places within the library are designated for a special purpose. These are highlighted below.
Study / Meeting Room
Located in the northwest corner of the library is our small conference room, which comfortably seats up to eight people for meetings or study sessions. Any staff member can assist you if you would like to reserve time in this room.
Magazine Alcove
Periodicals for adults can be found in our magazine room, located just inside the library’s main entrance. Spend a few moments here reading the morning’s paper or catching up on you latest business or entertainment trade publication. The newest editions of these items in our collection are available for your perusal in the library only. However, older copies can usually be checked out for three weeks at a time.
Please note that periodicals for teens and younger readers are located on the west wall of the library, near the DVDs.
Children’s Corner
Our evening Story Time program is held in the Children’s Corner, which is equipped with soft bench seating for parents and carpet squares for the young ones. This is also where you find our primary reader collections, board books, puzzles, a tent and more.
